Who's eligible for the Slingshot startup program?
Any MENA-based startup, pre-seed through Series A. We focus on founders building digital, AI, fintech, retail-tech, GovTech and SaaS products. If you're outside MENA but building for MENA, talk to us — we still take those.
What if we can't afford the Build tier (3,500 SAR/mo for 12 months)?
Start with Spark — it's free and stays month-to-month, no commitment. We also offer ad-hoc consulting (single workshop or single sprint) if a 12-month Build partnership is too much right now. For pre-revenue startups with a strong hypothesis, Co-Innovate (equity-based) may be a better fit than cash retainers.
How does the Nexus discount work?
Active Build or Scale tier members get 50% off Nexus Pro for the duration of their engagement. Discount is applied manually after qualification — we'll set you up on signup. If you cancel the Slingshot tier, the Nexus discount also ends but you keep the workspace at standard pricing.
What's the commitment shape? Can we upgrade or downgrade?
Build and Scale run on a 12-month minimum partnership, billed monthly — that gives both sides the runway to actually deliver outcomes worth measuring (not a one-month dabble). You can upgrade mid-term (e.g., Build → Scale after raising a round) and that resets to a fresh 12-month at the new tier. Downgrades happen at renewal, not mid-term. Spark stays free and month-to-month — no commitment, no contract.
Do you take equity? What range for Co-Innovate?
Yes — Co-Innovate is built around equity-share. Specific terms are case-by-case and depend on what we're contributing (cash equivalent of design, engineering and go-to-market). The range gets discussed at the discovery call once we understand stage, ambition and the role Slingshot will play. Standard SPV structures with clear vesting and exit terms.
How fast can we start?
Discovery call within a week of applying. Build/Scale engagements typically start within 2–3 weeks once scope is agreed. Spark access is immediate.
Do you support pre-revenue startups?
Yes. Spark is open to anyone. Build and Scale work for pre-revenue startups who've raised at least a small round. Co-Innovate exists specifically for pre-revenue, pre-traction founders with a strong hypothesis and the right team.
